Our RIVIERA Culture
Kelsey and Erica founded Salon RIVIERA in 2010 with a passion for beautiful hair and the vision of creating a welcoming luxury environment where clients and stylists feel comfortable. Being a sister owned business, we are all about creating lasting relationships within Gig Harbor, our beautiful city we grew up in. We celebrate individuality and strive for every person who leaves Salon RIVIERA to feel like their absolute best selves.

We have cultivated an amazing team of experienced and talented stylists who are not only passionate about what they do, but also very wonderful human beings that bring life and positive energy to Salon RIVIERA. It is very important to us to stay up-to-date with the latest styles and techniques with continued education within our salon to provide the best experience to our clients. When you come to Salon RIVIERA, you can trust that you're in good hands.
Our Passion for Education
We feel so strongly that as a talented seasoned staff of stylists it is our responsibility to pass on our knowledge and techniques in this wonderful world of hair design to newly licensed stylist with our Protege Program and to those who have a passion for hair and would like to earn their hours towards a license in hair design!
We now have our own extension program with our hair IN STOCK!
We also host at least 2 outside educator classes a year and an In-Salon class
every single month hosted by our talented Lead Stylists,
Jason, Kelsey & Jessica!
Beauty beyond the chair
At Salon Riviera, we believe beauty should feel good in every way, not just for our guests, but for our community and the planet as well.
That’s why we are incredibly excited to be a proud Green Circle Salon.
Through our partnership with Green Circle Salons, we are able to recover and recycle beauty waste that would otherwise end up in landfills. From hair clippings and excess color to foils, paper, plastics, and aerosol cans, we are committed to creating a more sustainable future for the beauty industry.
Every appointment at Salon Riviera is now part of something bigger. Hair clippings can help clean up oil spills and support environmental initiatives. Metals and plastics are sorted and recycled responsibly. Even leftover color waste is safely recovered to help keep harmful chemicals out of waterways.
Sustainability is a journey we are proud to be on, and becoming a Green Circle Salon is one more way we strive to create a thoughtful, elevated salon experience rooted in care — for our guests, our team, and our environment.

SALON RIVIERA ACADEMY
Get licensed with us!! We are excited to announce our salon is a place for aspiring hair designers. Teaming up with Atarashii, a nationwide recognized program.
Meet our Apprentices Chalize, Cameron, Jennica and Mason. Your visit not only enhances your beauty but also support them in gaining on-the-job training for their Hair Design License in WA State. Join us in nurturing their passion and skills.
You can book your appointment with them on Monday or Tuesday mornings or Thursdays! Most services are 50% off Salon base prices! Always with the guidance of a lead stylist.
